Naruto: Every hokages ranked by strength

The Hokage is a prestigious title passed on to Konohagakure's strongest, and most capable shinobi in Naruto series.

Ever since hidden leaf village was created, it has always had a powerful Hokage’s duty to protect the people and defend them from incoming threats. Leaf has seen seven Kage rise to this position so far. Here are all the seven Hokage of Konoha ranked according to their strength in Naruto series.

7. Kakashi hatake

The first one to be knocked out of our hokage list is Kakashi hatake. Now don’t get me wrong, when it comes to shinobi Kakashi is one of the strongest ninja of all, but that doesn’t mean he’s the strongest hokage of all. He’s the man who is feared all throughout the land and his story tells why, at a young 10 years old Kakashi was already a jonin, the highest rank of ninja after the hokage and became the captain of the anbu black ops at 13. 

Because he can use any jutsu known amongst shinobi and he also known as copy ninja due to his sharingan. Kakashi has successfully copied over 1000 jutsu at a speed just as fast or faster than his opponents and this is not all. His jutsu ranges between all five basic elemental releases and he also created one of the famous jutsu in series named as Chidori.

 He also able to use susano when he possessed the mangekyo sharingan in his both eyes. Losing his sharingan is the reason why he exit very early. But his team work and selflessness allow him to become 6^th hokage. And my one of the favourite man in the series.

 

6. lady tsunade senju

lady tsunade is the granddaughter of the first hokage hashirama senju. She is the beast of the shinobi. He is also a legendary sanin. 

She is one of the reason why the leaf was able to win the second shinobi world war. She is the world known and mastery in medical ninjutsu. She is also the reason why lee back on his feet. And he also healed the psychological damage of the Tsukuyomi and was even thought to be able to heal orochimaru’s arm which were sealed away by the 3^rd hokage.

 If we talk about power she has the plenty of strength. Due to the strength of hundred seal this technique allows lady tsunade to store chakra into the seal on her forehead which can be release any time and multiplying her chakra 100 times over adding to her strength. With the seal she has been able to break through the susano.

5. Tobirama senju

 2^nd hokage might have a slight edge than hirozen sarutobi. When we speak of jutsu a lot of credits goes to tobirama because likely he’s the one who created it. Some or favourite technique such as multi-shadow clone jutsu and impure world reincarnation and flying thunder all were from his mind. Like his student tobirama is a master of all five elements specializing in water release and use water style jutsu regardless if water is near by. 

He is in a special class of his own being one of the few who could perform jutsu with one hand. In terms of strength his power rivaled that of madara before obtaining mangekyo sharingan. And his speed is unmatched. His technique thunder god slash allowed him to slash down any opponents in front of him.

4. Minato namikaze

Where do we even begin in discussing the prodigy known as minato namikaze aka 4^th hokage known as the yellow flash of the hidden leaf due to his mastery of the space-time justu , flying thunder god. Minato was a man feared across all the villages. I mean who couldn’t be afraid if a guy can instantly teleport behind enemy and single handedly take down over thousand man. 

We also consider that it was his speed and seemingly speed alone that made him so great. Only being the master of 3 elements minato rarely formed hand signs and specialized in hand to hand combat. Carrying with him a multitude of specialized triple pronged kunai which was marked with a seal of teleportation. He can go throughout a field whereever he threw the kunai. The really cool about minato is his ability to take what the 2^nd hokage developed and take it even further. Speaking of the tale beast it was minato who had the strength to seal half of the nine tails within himself and even after the fact sealed the other half within Naruto. 

Overall minato power is insane. He’s one of the few who’s fully earned the respect of the toad boss gama bunta.

3. Hirozen sarutobi

On number 5 is hirozen sarutobi which is also known as professor and also with cool nickname the god of all shinobi. It says that in his prime lord 3^rd was stronger than any hokage who came before including hashirama. But this thing never shows in the anime and at the time of his revival , he is 60 to 70 year old man. 

We have to remember that when orochimaru attacked the hidden leaf village during the chunin exams not only did he take him on and seal orochimaru’s arms but he also took on and sealed away reanimated hashirama and tobirama alone. The nickname the professor is because of his mastery of every jutsu technique and combat form that exists in leaf village. 

As a master of all five elements releases as well sarutobi is a force that would be difficult for any shinobi to defeat. And there is no doubt if he is in his prime than there is no doubt he will be on the bigger stage in our list but that is not the case.

2. Hashirama senju

The other god of shinobi the first the creator of leaf village and essentially the ninja world. The 1^st hokage hashirama senju is one of the greatest shinobi to ever do it. In his era hashirama was the most powerful ninja and the only one whose strength could handle madara Uchiha who at the time had the mangekyo sharingan and the nine tails at his disposal. 

His strength lies in his utilization of senjutsu which was something he could utilize instantaneously in his wood relese kekkie genkai. He can create wood clones who won’t disappear after taking certain amount of damage.

Hashirama senju could take the number one spot in our hokage list but unfortunately there is a new kid in town whose dream has finally been realized.

1. Naruto uzumaki

From being the kid who everyone despised to becoming the hidden leaf’s 7^th hokage Naruto Uzumaki. And how could he not become 1^st in our list , through his hard work and undying determination Naruto has become the strongest shinobi of all time. 

He also develop some technique with rasengan such as the rasan shuriken which has the power to cut off and destroy an opponent’s chakra network at a cellular level. He is master of senjutsu and has the ability to use six paths senjutsu giving him access to six paths sage mode. Top all of this Naruto also has complete acess to kurama’s chakra. By pairing this form with his nine tails chakra mode Naruto gains access to some pretty cool abilities such as tailed beast mode.
